Roaming around Biel (12/13/1981)

Turned out to be a nice day today. Saw the sun rise over the mountains at about 8:20.

Went for a walk at 11:00. Took the shortcut that crosses the railroad at grade, then down Schützengasse past the fountain where I often refresh myself (on the way uphill!).

Down Seevorstadt and along the Schusspromenade to the swan colony. The Schuss appeared fuller of water and the parrot cages fuller of birds.

Took Spitalstrasse over to the main post office,

then Bahnhofstrasse to Nidaugasse, before taking Florastrasse towards the local post office and library.
